Cerro Raúl ( Spanish , in Argentina Cerro Tortuga for turtle hill ) is a hill on the Bowman coast of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . It rises at the head of the Trail Inlet .

Chilean scientists named him after Major Raúl Silva Maturana, head of the delegation of the Chilean army on board the Angamos for the 1st Chilean Antarctic Expedition (1946–1947). The Argentine naming is descriptive.
