Certamen Ciceronianum Arpinas is an international Latin competition for schoolchildren that has been held annually since 1980 in Cicero's birthplace, Arpino . It is organized by the Centro Studi Umanistici Marco Tullio Cicerone . Pupils from all classical grammar schools worldwide are eligible to participate .

The competition takes the form of a five-hour retreat . Participants will have a 200-word original text by Cicero in their own native language to translate and comment in their own native language. The examination performance is roughly comparable to that of a written Abitur examination in Latin.

The symposium Ciceronianum Arpinas , founded by Emanuele Narducci , was conceived as a scientific accompanying event.
