Cesare Bisoni

Cesare Bisoni (born October 1, 1944 in Caslino d'Erba ) is an Italian professor emeritus of economics and financial intermediaries and has been Chairman of the Board of Directors of the UniCredit Group in Milan since 2019 .

He studied at the Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi and at the Harvard Business School in Boston, Massachusetts, USA.

Since 2018 he has been professor emeritus for economics and financial intermediaries at the Department of Economics Marco Biagi at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia .

In 2019, after the unexpected death of Fabrizio Saccomanni , he took over the position of chairman of the supervisory board of the major Italian bank UniCredit; previously he was their vice-chairman.
