Chœur de Radio France
The Chœur de Radio France is the 1947 founded Radio Choir of Radio France , located in the Maison de la Radio in Paris. The mixed choir under the current direction of Martina Batič has around 120 singers. There is a close cooperation with the three other ensembles of Radio France: the Orchester National de France , the Orchester Philharmonique de Radio France and the Maîtrise de Radio France . He also worked a. a. together with the conductors Yvonne Gouverné , Jean Gitton , Jean-Paul Kreder and Stéphane Caillat . The choir is an Arte partner at Arte Concert and has contributed to numerous recordings. In 1985, the choir won for the inclusion of Bizet's Carmen the Grammy Award in the category Best Opera Recording .
