Attīstībai / Par! (short AP!; German: Development / For! ) is a liberal and pro-European electoral alliance in Latvia , which consists of three parties : Kustība Par! (“Movement For!”), Latvijas attīstībai (“For Latvia's Development”) and Izaugsme (“Growth”). This alliance was founded on April 20, 2018.

In the parliamentary elections in October of the same year , it was the fourth strongest force with 12.1% of the vote and 13 of the 100 seats in the Saeima . Attīstībai / Par! positions itself as the only major liberal party in Latvia and calls its goal a “modern and fair Latvia within a united Europe” and also advocates for LGBT rights.

The alliance is led by two co-chairs: Daniels Pavļuts , former Minister of Economy and Chairman of Kustība Par! and Juris Pūce , a deputy of Riga City Council and chairman of Latvian Development. Former Foreign and Defense Minister Artis Pabriks was the alliance's candidate for prime ministerial office.

Attīstībai / Par has been part of the coalition government under Krišjānis Kariņš since January 2019 . In his cabinet she has three ministers: Artis Pabriks (defense and deputy prime minister; initially independent, joined Latvijas attīstībai in October 2019), Ilze Viņķele (health; Kustība Par!) And Juris Pūce (environment and regional development; Latvijas attīstībai).
