Chabechnet was an ancient Egyptian artist who lived in Deir el-Medina at the time of Ramses II ( 19th Dynasty ) . He was a son of Sennedjem and Iy-neferti and married to a woman named Sahti. His grave is called TT2 and is located in the necropolis of the workers' village.

One of his titles was "Servant in the Square of Truth", that is, he was involved in the construction and decoration of the tombs in the Valley of the Kings or the Valley of the Queens .

Many relatives of him and his wife are depicted in his grave. The children of Chabechnets include the sons Sennedjem, Piay, Bakenanuy, Cha, Mose, Ahhotep and Amenemheb as well as the daughters Webchet, Mutemopet, Isis, Nofretchau and Henutweret. The names of the daughters Roy, Nodjemmut and Wabet are also recorded on a group of statues. His brother Chons, his sister Henutweret, Sahte's brother Wadjschemsu and their sister Henutwati are also mentioned in the grave scenes. Sahte also appears in the grave of her brother Nachtamun ( TT335 ), whereby Chabechnet and Sahte can be dated to the early reign of Ramses II.
