The Chakarov peak (English; Bulgarian Чакъров връх Tschakarow wrach ) is a rocky, partially unvereister and 650 m high mountain on the Oskar-II.-coast of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . In the Poibrene Heights it rises 2.95 km west-northwest of Ravnogor Peak , 3.94 km north-northwest of Kaloyanov Peak , 4.7 km east of Andreew-Nunataks and 3.8 km south-southwest of St. Sava Peak . The Punchbowl Glacier lies to the west of it.
The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named him in 2012 after Assen Tschakarow, engineer of the first Bulgarian Antarctic expedition (1987–1988).
