description

The two-story building has an L-shaped floor plan. It has typical features of Georgian architecture . Chamberlain's House is entered through a small porch protruding from the center of the front, which ends with a gable roof. This does not correspond to the original condition and was only added later. The porch is symmetrically surrounded in three axes by lattice windows. Another eight windows are on the outgoing wing along Main Street. On the front side, three dormers with hipped roofs illuminate the rooms of the attic. There are three more of the same type along Main Street. The edges of the building are decorated with offset corner stones. Another decorative ribbon is located below the windows on the upper floor. At the rear, another wing of the building runs parallel to the wing along Main Street. Chamberlain's House closes with a slate-covered gable roof. All facades are plastered using the traditional Harling technique.
