Champoussin

Champoussin in winter

Champoussin is a small mountain village and ski station in the canton of Valais in Switzerland . The village is located near Champéry , in the commune of Val-d'Illiez .

Champoussin lies at an altitude of 1,597 meters on the eastern flanks of the Pointe de l'Au . The village is opposite the Dents du Midi .

Ski Area

In winter it is part of the international ski area of Portes du Soleil . The two highest points of the station are the Aiguille des Champeys (2011 meters) and the Pointe de l'Au (2152 meters). The two peaks are each served by a chair lift. The connection between the two ski areas of Morgins and Champéry - Les Crosets lead through Champoussin.
