The Chamser Kangri is a summit in the Indian Union Territory of Ladakh .
The in Rupshu located in the eastern region of Ladakh Chamser Kangri is 6622 m altitude, the second highest peak of the mountain range Thalda Kurmi , the east of the lake 4522 m high is Tsomoriri rises. 3.5 km south of Chamser Kangri is the slightly higher summit Lungser Kangri (6666 m). An ascent of the Chamser Kangri in 1995 from the south over the southwest ridge is documented in the Himalaya Index. The Chamser Kangri has a north summit (6004 m) and a south summit (6179 m).
The mountain is considered technically not difficult.
