The Changels Seebach Foundation gGmbH is a non-profit foundation with headquarters in Stuttgart . It was founded in November 2019 by Volker Seebach, who is the managing director of the company.
purpose
The foundation has set itself the goal of strengthening developments in societies that aim for a sustainable way of life. Likewise, the changels are a think tank be for new ideas, inspiration and innovation. For this purpose, topics should be identified, possible alternatives developed and the implementation of these promoted.
Areas of support and topics
By Change Management ( Change Management unsustainable) processes in the areas of energy , nutrition , protection of privacy , environmental protection and climate change , to the foundation's purpose will be fulfilled. This also includes the holistic consideration of individual political departments in relation to cross-departmental, socio-political and real economic processes. In addition, the purpose of society is to promote public health, environmental protection and civic engagement in favor of charitable purposes. The foundation also wants to offer a platform for ideas and bring people together who are committed to better and more sustainable cooperation.
Projects
The foundation's first own project led to the establishment of the foundation. This runs under the title “Plastic instead of coal” and is classified in the area of environmental protection and climate protection. German plastic waste that is currently being exported abroad is to be used to generate energy in former coal-fired power plants in this country. This is intended to counteract the increasing environmental pollution from plastic waste. The aim of the project is to establish a legal basis within the framework of the coal compromise in order to be able to use plastic waste for energy in addition to natural gas and biomass .
The Changels' first external foundation project is to sponsor a school for the state of Baden-Württemberg . The Changels assume the costs for the paid news app for the project partner Buzzard to increase the diversity of opinion and strengthen the debate culture Buzzard, which otherwise has to be borne by the users themselves. The offer is aimed at all schools, pupils and teachers in Baden-Württemberg and is available for the 2020/2021 school year.
Participation
Support can be provided through the submission of new ideas or projects, through active participation in the projects, and through donations for ongoing projects.
