Chapel of Disease is a death metal band from Cologne , which was founded in 2008.

history

The band was founded in 2008 by singer and guitarist Laurent Teubl, bassist Cedric Teubl and drummer David Dankert. A short time later, bassist Christian Krieger joined the line-up, so that Cedric switched from bass to electric guitar and the band now had two guitarists. In 2009 the band tried to record a first demo, but did not succeed because the band could not work continuously on the songs. It wasn't until 2011 that the band recorded the first demo with Death Evoked , which was released in April 2012 via FDA Rekotz . The label decided to continue working with the band, so that the debut album Summoning Black Gods followed in the same year .

style

The band plays Death Metal, which is reminiscent of a mixture of works by bands such as Asphyx , Death and Morgoth . The vocals are reminiscent of Autopsy's .
