Lifeless is a death metal band from Dortmund , which was founded in 2006.
history
The band was formed in early 2006. In 2007 the band recorded their debut album Beyond the Threshold of Death and released it without the support of a label. The album was mastered by Vesa Kenttäkumpu from Evocation . In the fall of 2009 the band signed a contract with the American label Ibex Moon Records , the label of Incantation member John McEntee , through which the album was re-released in June 2010. In 2011, the group separated from the label and signed a contract with FDA Rekotz . This was followed by the split release Chapel of a Lifeless Culttogether with Chapel of Disease . In summer 2011 the band separated from guitarist Andy Bleichert, who was replaced by Jan.
style
The band plays traditional death metal which is comparable to the music of Entombed and Grave .
