Grave is a 1986 under the name Corpse founded Death Metal - band from Sweden .

Band history

After they were founded in 1986, Grave recorded a number of demo tapes until they finally released their debut album Into the Grave in 1991 . Her second album You'll Never See ... followed in 1992 and received as much praise as it did criticism. The fact is, however, that the band has made a great musical step forward. A year later, in 1993, the band recorded the limited EP And Here I Die… Satisfied , which contained a handful of remixes in addition to a few new tracks. Their next album, Soulless , was a lot more mature and the 1996 album Hating Life featured background vocals from guitarist Ola Lindgren for the first time. After their live album Extremely Rotten Live , however, a longer break followed until 1999. At this point, the band decided to continue, but suffered from a lack of musicians. They decided to bring their first guitarist Jonas Torndal back on board. Fredrik Isaksson (ex- Therion ) took over the electric bass . With this line-up they recorded their comeback album Back from the Grave in 2002 , which contains three demos from the years 1988 to 1989 on a bonus CD. Fiendish Regression was published in 2004 , followed by As Rapture Comes (2006). From Century Media , the band moved to the smaller record company Regain Records . In 2008, Dominion VIII was the band's eighth studio album. Two years later, the Swedes' next work appeared with Burial Ground .

In 2009 Lindgren founded his solo project Gray Heavens , in which he would like to make more experimental and dark music next to Grave.

Tobias Christianson from Dismember has been playing bass with Grave since 2010, replacing Fredrik Isaksson.

In October 2015, Out of Respect of the Dead was their eleventh studio album.
