The Chapelhouse Reservoir is a reservoir in the Lake District in Cumbria , England , operated by North West Water and used to supply Wigton with water .
The upper River Ellen , coming last from the southwest, flows to the Chapelhouse Reservoir in the south and traverses it to the north; there at the outflow the Longlands Beck flows into it from the right.
