Charles Deulin
Charlemagne "Charles" Deulin (born January 5, 1827 in Condé-sur-l'Escaut , † September 29, 1877 ibid) was a French novelist , journalist and theater critic .
biography
Deulin studied in Valenciennes and later moved to Paris , where he befriended Francisque Sarcey . He worked for various newspapers; for example Le Figaro and Le Monde illustré . He was also responsible for the theater part of various magazines. His short story collection Contes d'un buveur de bière was a great success in France and was reprinted many times.
