Charles Frederick Brudenell-Bruce
Lord Charles Frederick Brudenell-Bruce (March 4, 1849 - May 31, 1936 ) was a British politician, justice of the peace and major of the Royal Wiltshire Yeomanry.
Life
In 1920 he worked as general secretary of the Interallied Voting Commission for Schleswig ( French Commission Internationale de Surveillance du Plébiscite Slesvig (CIS) ) in Flensburg . The CIS was intended by the Entente as a result of the Versailles Treaty to accompany the referendums in Schleswig . For example, the cession of territory by the Weimar Republic to the Kingdom of Denmark provided for in the Versailles Treaty should be legally legitimized.
Charles Frederick was married to Margaret Renshaw.
His parents were Ernest Brudenell-Bruce, 3rd Marquess of Ailesbury (born January 8, 1811, † October 18, 1886) and Louisa Elizabeth Horsley-Beresford. He was the youngest child with six other siblings.
