Charles Hindelang
Charles Hindelang (born March 27, 1865 in Riedseltz , † October 7, 1943 in Colmar ) was a German politician ( SPD Alsace-Lorraine ).
Live and act
Charles Hindelang trained as a carpenter after completing primary school and became a master carpenter in Colmar. He was Catholic and married.
In Colmar he was 1901-1902 chairman of the trade union cartel. From 1902 to 1908 and 1914 to 1918 he was a member of the town council. After Alsace became French again in 1918, it was re-elected as the conseiller municipal in Colmar from 1922 to 1925 .
From 1911 to 1918 Charles Hindelang was a member of the Second Chamber of the Landtag of the Reichsland Alsace-Lorraine for the SPD for the constituency of Colmar-Stadt .
