Charles O'Conor Goolrick

Charles O'Conor Goolrick (born November 25, 1876 in Fredericksburg , Virginia , † June 4, 1960 ibid) was an American lawyer and politician ( Democratic Party ). He was also a member of the Episcopal Church as well as the Freemasons , the Elks and the Phi Beta Kappa .

He held a seat in the House of Representatives in 1908 and then in the Virginia Senate from 1915 to 1923 . He was also a presidential elector for Virginia in 1920 and a delegate to the Democratic National Convention in 1924 .

He was the son of John T. Goolrick and Frances Bernard (White) Goolrick and the great-great-grandson of George Mason . He was also the first cousin of Thomson Francis Mason and James Murray Mason and the third cousin of Stevens Thomson Mason . On May 25, 1910, he married a certain Nannie Ficklen.
