Charles Paul Renouard

Charles Paul Renouard (born November 5, 1845 in Cour-Cheverny ( Loir-et-Cher ), † January 2, 1924 in Paris ) was a French graphic artist, lithographer and painter .

Renouard was a student of Isidore Pils and participated in the decoration of the Opéra Garnier in Paris. Better known than for his painting, for which the opera and ballet provided the material, he became through his drawings for the Paris daily newspapers L'Illustration , Paris Illustré and Le Graphique .
