Charlotte Kirschstein

Charlotte Kirschstein (born July 6, 1924 in Berlin ) is a painter from Berlin-Lichtenrade .

Her pictures, kept in the style of naive art , show motifs from Berlin and Brandenburg , representations of private houses and views of nature that were created as commissioned works.

In addition to smaller presentations, her works could be viewed from 1972 to 1994 in the “Harnack House” in Berlin-Dahlem . From 1983 to 1987 the traditional department of the Brigitte Wölffer gallery at Kurfürstendamm 206 and then the foyer of the theater on Kurfürstendamm by Jürgen Wölffer showed their pictures.

Plischke-Kunst-Verlag Unterwössen printed over 50 of their motifs on greeting and Christmas cards.

Charlotte Kirschstein was married to the Berlin painter and graphic artist Erhard Kirschstein (born April 18, 1920, † November 6, 1972) for the second time .
