Charon publishing house
The Charon Verlag Grimme KG is a 1991 in Hamburg , was established publishing house , which refers to literature and journals in the field BDSM specializes. One of his publications is the magazine Schlagzeilen . It was founded as a GbR and converted into a KG in 1995 . Today it is the largest publisher in the BDSM sector.
Publications
The focus is on specialist literature and guides on topics such as bondage , maledom and femdom , as well as novels and collections of short stories.
In addition to the series “Böse Histories and Dirty Photos”, the publisher sells another series under the name “Black Label”, the volumes of which have been published in a total of over 150,000 copies.
The publisher's best-known individual works are “Das SM-Handbuch” (circulation over 75,000 copies) and “Das Bondage-Handbuch” (circulation over 70,000 copies). The author of both manuals and the “Japan Bondage Manual” is the co-owner of the publishing house, Matthias TJ Grimme . The two supplementary volumes “Das SM-Handbuch Spezial 1” and “Das Session-Kochbuch - SM-Handbuch Spezial 2” (together with Andrea Grimme) were also published by him.
Headlines
The headlines are the best-known regular German BDSM magazine. It was created in 1988 as the club magazine of the first open SM group in Germany, SM Syndicate Hamburg . The bimonthly issues contain stories and pictures as well as news from the scene, book presentations, key topics, columns and an artist presentation as well as personals. A list of the German-speaking BDSM get-togethers, bondage get-togethers and an appointment calendar with event information complete the booklet.
