Charter of Swabia

The Charte von Schwaben was a privately conducted, topographical survey of southwest Germany, especially of Swabia .

The map series was published by Georg Cotta in Tübingen from 1798 and was completed in 1828. It was 1: 86,400 in scale and consisted of 62 sheets.

The authors were Professor Johann Gottlieb Friedrich von Bohnenberger (1765–1831) and Ignaz Ambros von Amman (1753–1840), followed later by Ernst Heinrich Michaelis (1794–1873).
