storm chaser
As a storm chaser ( Engl . Storm chaser (s) ) refers to people who have taken on the task, storms identify, observe, track and possibly with means of photography and film to document . Storm chasers often cooperate with weather services and provide them with their collected data so that they can issue warnings if necessary.
The results and documentation are also published on online forums and in social media and are occasionally processed for congresses and weather-related lectures. The subsequent mapping, documentation and analysis of storm damage can also be part of the spectrum of activities of a storm chaser.
The demands of weather documentation range from a scientific recording of perceptions to a more aesthetic way of looking at these phenomena to a thirst for adventure, which is also caused by the fascination of this natural force .
