Chasovoj Island (English transcription from Russian Остров Часовой Ostrow Tschasowoi ) is an island off the Knox coast of the East Antarctic Wilkesland . It is located in the Bunger Hills area .
Russian scientists named them. The further naming background has not been passed down. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia translated the name into English in 1989.
