The avenue of enthusiasts
The Chaussee der Enthusiasts was a Berlin reading stage .
history
The Chaussee der Enthusiasten (Chaussee der Enthusiasten) was built in 1999. Up until 2002, the events took place in the Friedrichshain bar the conference , later on the grounds of the RAW temple and in 2015 in the Frannz Club in Prenzlauer Berg. Through appearances in other cities as well as tours abroad, the reading stage also became known outside of Berlin. The publications by Jochen Schmidt , Volker Strübing , Kirsten Fuchs and Stephan Serin as well as the books Chaussee der Enthusiasten: Straße ins Glück and Chaussee der Enthusiasten: The most beautiful writers in Berlin contributed to this. On December 9, 2015, the Chaussee der Enthusiasten ended its weekly shows with a final appearance in the Alte Kantine in the Berlin Kulturbrauerei.
