Narada
Narada ( Sanskrit : नारद Nārada m. ) Is a mythical sage in Hinduism . He is one of the seven great Rishis and one of the Prajapatis .
Sphere of activity
As Narada's father either the god Brahma or the sage Kashyapa are given, according to the Bhagavatapurana he arose from the thoughts of Hari . He associates between gods and humans and is therefore considered a messenger of the gods. He was the mythical inventor of the vina , the term for the oldest stringed instruments, and is the lord of the Gandharven , the heavenly musicians.
Vishnuism
With the Vaishnava, Narada is counted among the smaller avatars of Vishnu and plays a special role as a friend of Krishna . He is also considered to be the herald of Bhakti Yoga . According to the Nāradapāñcarātra , Brahma asked his son Narada to marry a woman. However, he scolded his father as a bad adviser, because love for Krishna was above all else.
