Chazewa (חֲצֵבָה also חצבה) is a moshav in the Regional Association HaArawa HaTichona (also called "Central Arava") in the Southern District of Israel. In 2018 there were 605 residents there. The place, founded in 1965, was named after the neighboring former fortress Chazewa (מצודת חצבה also מְצוּדַת חֲצֵבָה), which according to Jochanan Aronheim (יוחנן אהרונהיים) is also known as the fortress Tamar from the book Ezekiel 47:19 and 48:28.
