MEGA-E

MEGA-E (for Me tropolitan G reater A reas e lectrified) is an EU -gefördertes project for upgrading of electric charging stations networks in at least ten European cities .

history

In April 2018 it was announced that the European Union is funding the construction of 322 charging stations (up to 350 kW charging power) with up to 1,300 charging points with a total of 29 million euros . In addition, 39 so-called charging hubs are to be created, with charging stations from Tesla Inc. as well as their own available and combined with other mobility offers (stationary e-bikes, etc.). The Finnish company Fortum Charge & Drive announced its withdrawal from the project in March 2018. The lead company is Allego (part of the French Meridiam group since June 1, 2018, previously part of the Dutch network operator Alliander ).
