Chelu

Chelu ( Chinese  车陆乡 , Pinyin chelu Xiang ) is a municipality in the district Xunke the city of Heihe in the northeastern Chinese province of Heilongjiang . The community has an area of ​​580 km² and almost 8,000 inhabitants (end of 2009). It is located on the south bank of Heilong Jiang , directly across from Russia . Wheat and soy are mainly grown in Chelu . Fishing also plays an important role in Heilong Jiang. The community belongs to the traditional settlement areas of the Russians in China.
