Chen Hung-Lieh
Chen Hung-Lieh ( Chinese 陳鴻烈 , Pinyin Chén Hóngliè , W.-G. Chen Hung-borrowed , Jyutping Can 4 Hung 4 Lit 6 ; born June 7, 1943 in Hong Kong ; † November 24, 2009 ibid) was a Chinese actor .
Life
Chen's family is from Shanghai ; he was born in Hong Kong as the brother of Chen Hao , who also became an actor. Chen was a graduate of the Shaw Brothers' second actor training course and received a contract in 1964, for which he mainly played villain roles in many martial arts films until 1971. Together with his brother he founded a production company, Celestial Pictures , in whose productions the actor, who is also very popular in Taiwan, was still active and can also boast some above-average works in his filmography. One of his alternative names was Golden Chan .
From the 1990s, Chen was also active for the television station TVB . Chen also directed 5 films.
