action

The governor's son is ambushed and kidnapped by Jadetiger and his gang in order to free the leader of the gang. The governor sends his daughter Golden Swallow disguised as a man to free her brother. When the Golden Swallow quartered in a hostel, she was saved from an assassination attempt by an apparently drunk beggar. The next day, she learns from the same unknown beggar called the Drunk Cat that her brother is hiding in the monastery.

In the monastery there is a fight between the golden swallow and the jade tiger. Golden Swallow is hit by a poison arrow from Jadetiger's fan. She can barely escape into the forest and is rescued by Drunk Cat and cared for in his hut. It turns out that Drunk Cat is a kung fu master who does not want to be recognized. Liao Kung, the abbot of the monastery where the hostage is being held, is an old enemy of Drunk Cat, who is actually called Fan Ta-fei.

The hostage is now supposed to be exchanged. There is a big fight between the soldiers of the governor and Jadetiger with his gang. At the end of this fight there will be a grand finale between Drunk Cat and Liao Kung, in which Drunk Cat emerges as the winner.
