Chen Jui-Lien (* 1971 ) is a former Taiwanese weightlifter .

Career

Chen Jui-Lien was the best Taiwanese weightlifter to appear. In contrast to the world-class athletes from the People's Republic of China , who usually start lifting weights at the age of 12 to 14 and are world-class at the age of 16 to 18, she started lifting weights later. It was not until she was 23 that she took part in a world championship for the first time. All in all, her career was nevertheless extremely successful, as she became world champion three times in 1995, 1998 and 1999 and set several world records. Her career ended in 2000.
