Chen Szu-yuan

Chen Szu-yuan , Chinese  陳詩 園  /  陈诗 园 , Pinyin Chén Shīyuán , (born February 7, 1981 ) is an archer from Taiwan . His greatest success was a silver medal with the team at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens and the 2006 Asian Games in Doha .

Career

Chen Szu-yuan competes in international competitions as an archer for the Republic of China (Taiwan) , which is called “ Chinese Taipei ”. At the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens , Chen finished seventh in the singles after losing to Laurence Godfrey from Britain with 108 to 110 in the quarterfinals . With the team he lost to South Korea in the final and was able to win the silver medal. In 2006, Chen Szu-yuan won silver again with the team at the Asian Games in Doha . He was part of the Chinese Taipei squad at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing . There he starts with the team and in the individual. Chen Szu-yuan completed the placement round of the individual competition with 38th place. In the round of 32 he met the Malaysian Muhammad Marbawi and defeated him 107: 106. In the next round he lost 101: 109 to the Russian Balschinima Zyrempilow . With the team he was eliminated against Ukraine.
