Chen Zhenggao ( Chinese  陈 政 高 , Pinyin Chén Zhènggāo ; born March 1952 in Haicheng , Liaoning Province , People's Republic of China ) is a politician in the People's Republic of China. He was governor of Liaoning Province from 2007 to 2014 . In 2014 he was appointed Minister of Construction . He left office in 2017 when he reached the mandatory retirement age for officials at the ministerial level of 65.

Chen was the mayor of Shenyang , capital of Liaoning Province , from 2001 to 2005 . He was alternate member of the 17th Central Committee of the CCP and full member of the 18th CPC Central Committee.
