Chenuwa
in Egyptian hieroglyphics

Chenuwa was a Nubian queen around 250 BC. Chr.

Chenuwa is only known from its pyramid Beg S503 in Meroe . The tomb had a badly damaged pyramid. In front of it was a small mortuary temple and in front of it was the entrance to the underground chambers. 23 steps lead to two chambers. In the second, King Wife Chenuwa was written on the ceiling in Egyptian hieroglyphics . Otherwise the grave was already heavily robbed.

Amanislo has been presumed to be Chenuwa's husband.
