The Cherkovna Point (English, Bulgarian нос Черковна nos Tscherkowna ) is a 1.7 km long headland at the Graham Coast of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula . It is located 11.1 km southeast of Vorweg Point , 10.2 km south of Duyvis Point and 6.2 km northwest of the summit of Mezzo Buttress , of which it is the branch, at the head of Barilari Bay .
British scientists mapped it in 1971. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2015 after the town of Cherkovna in northeastern Bulgaria .
