action

The grandmother of the step-siblings Otome and Minami Hasaki has to move in with the family for medical reasons. She gets Otome's room while this forces her to move in with her brother. Despite a large curtain that goes through the middle of the room, Otome and Minami are constantly arguing, because Minami is now finding it increasingly difficult to keep the not entirely brotherly feelings for his "new" stepsister secret.

Otome has a crush on Minami's best friend Amane. When the two become a couple, however, she notices that she has more feelings for her stepbrother, who is three days younger.

Minami, who is popular with the girls at the school, moves from home to his biological father to do an apprenticeship. There he has to sleep in a room with his half-brother Hokuto Imai on a shared futon, which bothers not only himself, but also Hokuto. Minami hides where his father's apartment and café are and becomes less and less accessible to his sister.

Towards the end of the third volume, Otome's best friend Naru and her ex-boyfriend Amane get together and the first kiss between Minami and Otome takes place after a school cosplay competition, which is a shock to Otome. She no longer knows how to behave in the presence of Minami. Hokuto's feelings for Otome are added later.

When Minami finally receives an application from his father's former master to work for him in Kyoto, Minami decides to move there. Otome no longer gets to confess her love to Minami, as Minami tells her to save it for later. After a year, Minami and Otome meet again at Christmas, they confess their love to each other and decide not to be siblings anymore.
