Cheryl Jacques

Cheryl Jacques (born February 17, 1962 ) is an American politician in the Democratic Party .

Life

Jacques attended Boston College and studied law at Suffolk University Law School. She served in the Massachusetts Senate for the Democratic Party from 1993 to 2004 . In 2004 she was the successor to Elizabeth Birch president of the organization Human Rights Campaign ; she resigned the presidency of the organization after a year. She has been married to Jennifer Chrisler since 2004. The couple has three children.
