Chesterina Sim Zecha

Chesterina Sim Zecha (* 1943 in Indonesia ) is a former Indonesian dancer and actress . As a result of her marriage to a Malaysian prince in 1973, her name changed with the new title to Che Engku Chesterina .

Live and act

Chesterina Sim Zecha began training as a ballet dancer in England in 1956 . Her extraordinary talent was discovered by the choreographer Peter Wright during her appearances in the musical Flower Drum Song by Rodgers and Hammerstein . She then received the lead role of Odette in Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake at the Festival of Cork under Wright's direction . She then moved to the Stuttgart Ballet , where she was part of John Cranko's ensemble . From 1969 to 1972 she had a few appearances in German television productions.

After her marriage to a Malaysian prince in 1973 , she withdrew from the stage and film. She received the title Che Engku (Princess).
