Chetan Anand Buradagunta ( Telugu చేతన్ ఆనంద్ , Cētan Ānand ; born August 7, 1980 in Vijayawada , Andhra Pradesh ) is an Indian badminton player .

He first drew attention at the Indian Junior Championships when he won the men's singles title in 1999. In 2004 he failed in the national men's singles final to Pullela Gopichand . In the same year he won the Volant d'Or de Toulouse , in 2005 the Irish Open , the Welsh International and the Sri Lanka International .

In 2006 he was in the final of the Polish Open , but lost there against Przemysław Wacha .

In January 2007 he was the first time Indian champion in men's singles by defeating Anand Pawar in Patna . The following year he won the Nepal International . In 2008 he won the men's singles at the Czech International . He is married to badminton player Jwala Gutta , with whom he won the Cyprus International in 2007 .
