Chhibramau is a city in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh .
The city is part of the Kannauj district . Chhibramau has the status of Nagar Palika Parishad . The city is divided into 25 wards . On the cut-off date of the 2011 census it had 61,444 inhabitants, of whom 31,661 were men and 29,325 women. Hindus make up the majority of the city's population at over 73%. The literacy rate in 2011 was 79.14%.
The city is located along the National Highway 91 ( Grand Truck Road ) on the route from Delhi to Kanpur .
