Chidori Canal
The Chidori Canal ( Japanese 千 鳥 運河 Chidori unga , literally "Thousand Birds Canal") is an artificial waterway in the Japanese city of Kawasaki ( Kanagawa Prefecture ). The name of the canal is derived from the Chidori district, which is located on a heaped island in the coastal edge of the Kawasaki district.

The canal is located in the southern part of the Kawasaki district, part of the Keihin industrial belt . It runs from northeast to southwest between the districts of Chidori and Shiohama.
