Chiki Liki Tu-a is a Slovak alternative rock band from Prešov in the region Saris , Eastern Slovakia . The songs are inspired by a multitude of genres, the lyrics have their own nonsense poetics that are strongly influenced by the multicultural environment of Prešov. The band has concerts mainly in Slovakia , but also abroad such as the Czech Republic , Hungary , Germany , France , Macedonia .
The band is known for their versatile concert projects in which they parody various musical genres and personalities from Czech-Slovak pop culture . She achieved media attention and public awareness with the hit Láska moja de si .
history
The band met in a rehearsal room in Prešov , the Slovak " Seattle ", in June 1994, the first three guys with minimal knowledge of musical instruments met. Chiki liki tu-a was founded by Martin Višňovský, Marián Ivan and Peter Šima. After first attempts, a concert program was drawn up in September 1995, this time already with the keyboard instrumentalist Tomáš Višňovský. The band went through several changes after that. Today's band consists of the brothers Martin Višňovský ( vocals , bass ), Tomáš Višňovský ( drums ) and Ľuboslav Petruška ( guitar ).
