Child Rebel Soldier (CRS) is a hip-hop group founded in June 2007, consisting of rappers Kanye West , Pharrell Williams and Lupe Fiasco .

At first there was only one newspaper article on hiphopdx.com that announced the founding of the supergroup . At the same time a song "Us Placers", in which "The Eraser" is used as a sample by Thom Yorke , was released on West's mixtape "Can't Tell Me Nothing". The song, written by Fiasco, reached 43rd place in the annual Rolling Stone magazine charts . After "Us Placers" came out, a fan base developed. Due to the great success that the three were able to achieve as solo artists, it is expected that CRS will become an important music player in the future. In May 2008, a remix of the Internet was N * E * R * D's Everyone Nose released on the next to the rapper Pusha T from the hip-hop duo Clipse also Child Rebel Soldier were represented together.
In August 2008 they released the mixtape Rebel Music , which does not contain any new productions, but only consists of remixes of songs by the solo artists.

In August 2007, Lupe Fiasco stated in an interview with Billboard.com that the three artists' record companies are currently working on a solution to enable them to record a joint album.
"Now [our labels are] working it out. Whoever is going to pay is going to pay a whole hell of a lot. Everybody is excited, [but] 'Us Placers' is the only record we have. "
