biography
At the 1936 Summer Olympics in Berlin , Chin Kuai-ti was the first Chinese boxer to make his middleweight debut at the Olympic Games , but it was a very short one. His opponent Richard Shrimpton from Great Britain knocked him out in the first round, but was disqualified because he had not followed the referee's instructions before the knockout blow. However, this decision was reversed the next day.
A year later he died as a soldier in the Second Sino-Japanese War .
