The company was founded in 1969 as Nanjing Machine Repair Factory and renamed Nanjing Machine Tool Repairing Plant in 1976 . In 2001, it became a public company and was established in Nanjing High Speed ​​& Accurate Gear Co., Ltd. renamed. In 2005/2006 the name was changed to China High Speed ​​Transmission Equipment Group Co., Ltd.
