Choo Mi-ae (born October 23, 1958 in Daegu , South Korea ) is a South Korean politician who has served as the country's Justice Minister since January 2, 2020. She is also a member of the Gukhoe , where she represents seat B of Gwangjin-gu , an eastern district of Seoul city. Between 2016 and 2018 she was chairman of the Deobureo-minju party .
