history
During the Hallstatt and La Tène periods between the 6th and 5th centuries BC, there was a hill on the hill . A fortress that became extinct in the course of the Celtic immigration. Since that time the mountain became a pagan place of worship into the Middle Ages. This was destroyed in the course of Christianization and in the 13th century the chapel of St. Trinity built. In 1357 the chapel was expanded into a church. In the 18th century the church was changed to Baroque style and renovated in the 19th century. Then began a period of decline. In 1953 the cemetery around the church was closed. In 1995 the dilapidated church was renovated.
At the southern foot of the hill on the road from Křinec to Mečíř there is a Jewish cemetery, which has been restored from a neglected state since the 2000s.
