Chris Bryant (Author)
Chris Bryant ; Born Christopher Brian Spencer Dobson (born June 7, 1936 in Bolton , Lancashire , † October 27, 2008 in Burford , Oxfordshire ) was a British screenwriter .
Life
Chris Bryant immigrated to Canada after graduating from law school. Occasionally, Bryant was also active as an actor. In the 1990s he only worked on television productions.
He was married to Penelope Riley from 1969 until his death. There were three children from this marriage.
In 1992 he received a Christopher Award for his work on the television film Alone Against the Wall . He had previously received a nomination for the Edgar Allan Poe Awards in 1974 and 1987 .
